Mike Jordan has been playing and performing professionally since leaving college in 1976. He has a wealth of experience with over 5,000 live performances to date with various bands, as a solo artiste, or as a backing musician. He has appeared with many top international rock, pop and cabaret stars such as Tina Turner, Sir Elton John, Sir Bob Geldof, Thin Lizzy, Robert Palmer, Noel Redding (Jimi Hendrix band), Blues guitarist Rory Gallagher, Skid Row, 60s legend Gene Pitney, international soul superstar Alexander O’Neal, and comedian Bernard Manning to name but a diverse few. He has also performed in the West End Showstoppers revue. Mike was privileged also to have met and performed in front of The Beatles.As well as a consummate guitarist, he is also an accomplished piano/keyboard player and vocalist. He has a degree in music from the London College of Music and a teaching diploma from the Registry of Guitar Tutors and he regularly teaches and lectures at college as well as in his private studio. Mike is also the founder and director of Rockademy Ltd www.rockademy.co.uk a specialist touring rock and pop school training the stars of tomorrow and he is also the founder of the Entertainment co-operative www.mikejordanentertainments.co.uk which has supplied work to many alternate artistes since 1985 with personal representation of several name acts giving him much experience with artiste management and supervision. As well as being a published author, he has also broadcast nationally for the BBC as a presenter and has hosted many live productions and corporate events.

Normally the domain of a many-handed expensive showband, mike has vast experience in this area and can handle the largest or smallest of these important events where the all-important 'entertainment-value' x factor is required.
Featuring live keyboards, guitar, vocals, harmoniser, the best quality backing tracks from a comphrensive repertoire that covers all the bases and caters for everyone. Delivered with the best but discrete bose pa system, a fully professional stage lighting system, an interval disco and a personality presentation that builds the necessary connections between the stage and the audience. The performance is volume conscious and effective due to lack of live bass n drums, is hugely cost effective, balanced against the cost of a full band and is simply 'effective' in the extreme due to the comphehensive blend of skill, experience, professionalism and charm.
